Who with Asthma has had Coronavirus?

Did you have a dry cough? I think I had it back in February but although felt awful, headache, sore throat and had to stay in bed most of 5 days no option, I had a very productive, flem-y cough with constantly running nose, NOT this dry cough that is always described as a symptom. However due to Asthma I have a lot more lung secretions and cough just everyday all year round.
Just wondered if it might present differently in an asthmatic person?

Interesting. I have asthma and had something similar to you in Feb (though was able to carry on, but it was a very odd virus) with lots of lung rattles and phlegmy secretions.

I don’t know if I have CV but I am asthmatic and here is what happened to me and this was prior to self insolation and that it was ‘fever and dry cough’ to look out for

I work in healthcare and around doctors nurses and patients all day

3 weeks ago DD1 had a raging sore throat and dry cough. Saw GP said viral throat infection (DD is still coughing now)

2 weeks ago I saw some friends

That week I had bad headaches and very swollen glands. I went for a workout and couldn’t breathe properly

5 days after i met friends, 1 got really sick with chest pains cough and headache aching all over called 111 they said COVID

2 days later I wake up with a ‘chest infection’ out of the absolute blue. Aches all over, headaches, chest wheeze, low peak flow and mucus cough and am still ill now. I was given antibiotics and upped my inhalers

No one knows what illness was what. I don’t know if I have any immunity or caught DD1’s first illness or whether I caught something from friend.

Asthma wise I had classic chest infection symptoms mainly but some of the worst most annoying prolonged headaches as well. No dry cough though or even a fever 🤷🏻‍♀️

I hope you are well again soon. My asthma is going to take a while to settle I think I hope yours does too. At least a productive cough is getting it out!
