How much will a furloughed employee take home?

I can’t seem to get to the bottom of this

Assuming the employee usually earned over £2,500 per month so would
just get the full furlough payment

If they are on a basic tax code - what would their take home pay be per month?

That’s why it’s so difficult to calculate

Theoretically tax will work in favour of those well below £2500 but those earning over £2500 gross won’t get 80% of their current take home
