Helpful song Your song and why

Just wondered ; does anyone have a particular song which is helping them get through this quagmire of plop?
So many songs remind me of so many different things, a bit like Desert Island Discs, lol
But mine is Oasis « Champagne Supernova «
Only because it reminds me of my now grown up daughter,
When she was a toddler and couldn’t sleep, we would dance on her bed to this song until it tired her out. The lyrics were totally inappropriate for her age, but it worked at the time ; and now I cannot see her, the song takes me back there.

Not sure how helpful it is but 'It's the end of the world as we know it' has become an ear worm and it's cheerful in a wry sort of way.

Champagne Supernova is a great song! Good to hear you instilled such good taste in your DD at an early age.

Me and my daughter were dancing to the bear nessessities from jungle book today, seemed quite fitting and cheered me up a little .

Just started the post because my brother who lives in Coventry was listening to Terry Halls Ghost Town, which was originally written about Coventry, he sent me a link to it and I hadn’t listened to the specials in ages, but goodness me the lyrics have more sinister echoes now.

My go-to song for any difficult times is Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel. So uplifting and joyous.
