Matched betters/bettors(?), how are you holding up?

I'm enjoying having a total break from it, and its highlighted how much of my mental energy it takes up. However the novelty might wear off!

I'm so thankful that my bankroll will allow us to live fairly comfortably for a good while if necessary. Dh will be furloughed in the next couple of weeks, I'm a sahm.

Anyone still making profit? I managed 20 quid at the weekend but the odds on these weekday offers have been so bad, I'm knocking it on the head.

I am a midwife and am totally knackered from working extra shifts with skeleton staff. I have emptied all of my bookie and exchange accounts and cancelled oddsmonkey. Not sure I will bother with MB again, I started it over a year ago to pay for a dream holiday this summer which now won't happen. I also was furious about Chelts and that Liverpool V Madrid match going ahead. I dunno, I just have a new perspective on the betting industry and want nothing to do with it now. I suspect a fair few bookies won't survive this anyway, such as WH.

For anyone reading this who doesn't know much about MB, whilst now isn't the time to be trying it out, if you have considered dabbling, it is very profitable. I made 6k in a year, much less than most but I had very limited time to spend on it. 'Gambling' proceeds are tax free and once you get the hang of it, you literally cannot lose. I am feeling negative about it now, but for the year I did it, I loved it.

Agree, I feel very guilty for making money from chelt.

Oh I made a lot a money from this back in the day. I still have the alarms on my phone for when I did accumulators 😂

I actually invested most of the profits into an online business (publishing ebooks) so now with all of this going on I can work from home and my income has barely dropped.

So I guess in a roundabout way MB changed my life Grin

That's brilliant @Falacy :)

I've emptied my accounts and exchanges and just having a break for now. Not sure I will go back to it tbh, made good money the last couple of years and very grateful for it but I start uni in September.
