Does Dove hand wash work against coronavirus?

We can only find Dove hand soap but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it wouldn't be effective against Coronavirus because of how soaps break down viruses? Anyone know if this is correct or is it a myth?

Thanks :)

Yes, it will be effective. It's a detergent and so will break down the fatty layer on the outside of the virus, thus killing it.

Any soap and water works as long as you wash your hands correctly.
I prefer a bar of soap as then you are not touching a plastic container with dirty hands. The virus can live on plastic for days.

Yep absolutely does and it’s not as drying as some so a great one to use
