Sainsburys not allowing amendments to orders?

I managed to book a Sainsburys delivery for Sunday ( we had a vulnerable persons email because we have a disabled son). I have amended it a couple of times as usual but when I tried to add something this morning it said my delivery slot was no longer available. The website still have my order being delivered (without the item I tried to add). Has anyone else had this and do you think my order will still come?

i have a click and collect with them this morning and I was able to amend it last night before 11pm. It only worked on my phone and not my laptop for some reason.
I expect it will still come but without the added bits. Try again a few time’s as you have until Saturday night to amend.

However with Asda, I did a click and collect, went through checkout and the next day I checked it to make sure I’d remembered everything and it said my slot had expired and it didn’t go through. I tried again and the same happened.

It’s a right pain isn’t it!

Keep trying, their website and app have been really glitchy.

I just amended mine but it took a few attempts to get it to work.

Ok thanks all - I was hoping to add a few items for my dad. Just worried that if I try it again I’ll lose the slot completely! They also told me I wasn’t a vulnerable customer having sent me an email saying I was 🙄

I hope all the vulnerable customers get what they need.

But otherwise, there is a lot of what amounts to queue jumping amongst people who have managed to get delivery slots, with people essentially ‘bagsing’ items that are in short supply for all their friends and neighbours and adding them to the shop, so I am not surprised if the supermarkets are streamlining the traffic in an already overloaded system.

The Sainsbury's CEO has requested that people try to use their slots to help other people.

They opened up the slots for over the weekend to delivery pass people so that may be why it is a little glitchy this morning.
