111 - Treat this as Covid-19

Hi,

I hope I get some responses to this post please.

In our household, there’s myself who is 20 weeks pregnant, my husband, my elderly parents who both have underlying conditions, and my cousin brother.

My cb came home yesterday feeling under the weather with a slight fever and chills. He immediately started self isolating. We got worried of suspected covid19 and called 111 today. The doctor has said to treat this as covid19 given the symptoms described and to self isolate. He asked him who else is in the household and advised my parents and I to be extra careful.

We have been social distancing for over 4 weeks (my parents and I) out of fear of catching this outside.

The only people who leave the house is DH and CB for work, and they always have full shower and change and wash clothes after work.

I am now PETRIFIED as to whether any of us could have caught it off him in the recent days.

As a family, we are close and spend time together in the living room (instead of just retreating to our own rooms).

I feel so scared for my parents.

What else can we do?

I want to stay away as much as possible and am considering going to my sisters place, who lives alone in a 3-bed (lives 15 mins away) but she has also been travelling to work using underground tubes until last week (her work has now closed) and so I’m worried to go there too in case she’s unknowingly infected herself too.

How can I make sure my parents are protected? CB is already self isolating in the room downstairs and using own toilet/shower that is separate to us. Currently all staying well away and food/water is being left outside the door to avoid direct contact.

Any other suggestions please. All welcome. Please.
I’m really terrified at the moment Sad
