A lot of of the posts on here are people ill for weeks on end. I’ve been having mild symptoms for maybe 4 days and then more ill in bed for another 3. No temp as yet and a mild cough. Tight chest. Felt well enough to get up yesterday & felt normal but then back in bed this morning.

Tell me your stories of it being over quickly with fairly mild symptoms as trying to keep positive 😬🙈

I had mild symptoms but it is taking a long time to completely get rid of the tiredness. My husband and children were over it very quickly - a week or so.

Following as I would like to hear aswell

littleblackdress04 · 26/03/2020 14:45

But surely most people don’t even know for sure if it was CV or another bug/virus?

littleblackdress04 · 26/03/2020 14:46

@Paintforkitchen well yes, that’s true! But a lot of very similar symptoms on here

Unless they’ve been tested and confirmed, no one can answer your question

FaFoutis · 26/03/2020 14:48

I know because mine came from somebody who tested positive. Lots of people in my town had it at the same time. All are recovering well.

CodenameVillanelle · 26/03/2020 14:49

I've had all the symptoms but very mildly
Sore throat last Tuesday, cough on Wednesday, slight fever Thursday gone by Friday. Coughing subsided Monday. Snotty nose Monday onwards.
Energy levels fucked though still managing to do a bit of exercise in the mornings.
Still coughing a bit, still snotty, still knackered, still slightly breathless.

CodenameVillanelle · 26/03/2020 14:52

That's right @CuppaZa
It could just be another virulent strain of something that's zipping from person to person in my workplace. It's probably CV but possibly not. Still useful to share experiences though.

CuppaZa · 26/03/2020 15:01

I had the same symptoms as you @CodenameVillanelle. It was a normal virus.

FaFoutis · 26/03/2020 15:03

There was no snot in any of the symptoms the adults had here.

CodenameVillanelle · 26/03/2020 15:03

I have chronic rhinitis and have done for 2 years so the snot was to be expected tbh

vegvegveg · 26/03/2020 15:03

I've been achy and exhausted in waves for about 2 weeks now, then this week I've also had a slight tightness in my chest, and a feeling of pressure between my breastbone and shoulder blades, and a tickly cough in the evenings. I have no idea if it's corona or not but I'm starting to wonder.

CodenameVillanelle · 26/03/2020 15:04

I forgot to mention the chest pains that I had on Saturday and Sunday. Felt like something heavy and hot was pressing on my chest.
