I completely appreciate overwhelmed so this is NOT slating the service nor the government.

I am just wondering if anyone has had any joy because yesterday on hold in total for 5 hours over 3 calls. Today shaping up to be the same.

Any particularly good time?

I spent two hours on hold to them on Wednesday after trying to get through since Monday but have my booking appt for midday today.
Annoyingly i had a missed call from them at 9 this morning as they had some free time and were seeing if i was free.

I have now been on hold 2 hours and 10 minutes

Do I end the call? The music is driving my children and I insane!!

I got through to them after just over 3hrs waiting on monday. Had first telephone appointment yesterday and received an advance the same day. Just keep at it, if you get cut off or can’t get through again, write in your online journal that you have been trying constantly and hopefully someone will book you a telephone appointment instead via the journal. My friend did this yesterday and got a message back today with a telephone appointment booked for Monday.
