NHS redeployed staff - do you think your training is sufficient for the new role?

I am concerned about scope of practice.

My friend was telling me that AHPs at her trust are being redeployed onto wards to do nursing procedures, and potentially 12 hour shifts.

I'm an AHP, registered, but, not in clinical practice because am on maternity leave. I was expecting to be "called up" when my clinical experience would be needed - I'm a physio and figured there will be a need for people like me providing rehab, and my leave would be cut short because of that.

Have you been redeployed? Do you feel well enough trained? I'm nervous.
