CV Bday worries and other crap

A month ago I was running a successful business which fully supported a local charity, I had a "holiday of a lifetime" booked for Easter. A trip we've saved for 4 years and spent a year planning with my teenagers. I had a party planned for my 45 bdays last weekend.

Now I am at home, no income, trying to support the charity's vulnerable clients from. my own pocket, no holiday, no bday celebrations etc obviously.
We're actually ok, looking after each other, trying to claw back holiday money, taking each day as it comes, it's fine. My dilemma is that DH very kindly bought me a very expensive leather belt for my bday - it cost £195 - I have never had anything like it in my life. He bought it after Xmas with money he had saved and thinks I should have it. I want to return it, I love it but feel so guilty.
WWTD? Thanks for reading, sorry, I know it is not important but I feel a bit addled, I'm sure we all are. Thank you

Sorry, this cv shit is affecting everything.
I personally would return it.

You love the belt. Keep the belt.

Apart from anything else you're probably way past any timescale when you'd be able to return it anyway - it's not like he went out and bought it a couple of weeks ago. Yes, it was very expensive, but I think you need to place it in the mental category of 'things we would not spend money on now but did in the past' and I hope at some point you'll be able to get enjoyment from it.

I'm sorry everything is so tough at the moment. All the best.

Id keep it and get enjoyment from it.

The money is spent now. How would you get a refund anyway?
