Went out today to try and get some food in, Local ASDA were letting two people in at a time, they were also making sure everyone was at a safe distance, they had all their tollys inside the store and they were cleaning them down and cleaning all the handles on the baskets before handing them to people. Saw a man get out of his car, walk by us all in the queue to get in and try to walk in before everyone else, started shouting at the staff, he was told to either join the queue or go elsewhere, he did the walk of shame past all of us!
Just wanted to leave this here to pay my respect to anyone working in the supermarkets throughout this time (obviously everyone else as well, its just supermarket is relevent to my post after what I saw today at asda.)
Also, I spoke to my ex who works for tesco, I wanted to see if he was doing ok, he told me he has never been more stressed out at work, told me he will never think christmas is a busy period again after this. So far, he has been spat at, shouted at, blamed for stuff not being in stock, one guy wished him dead, he has not had a day off for almost three weeks and is exhausted.
Respect to you all.
