If you’ve had mild coronavirus symptoms...

what were they like? Obviously most of us have no way of knowing if it is coronavirus or not (yet!), but if you suspect you’ve had it mildly, what were your symptoms?

I’ve had a slight cough, mild breathlessness and tickle in my throat, headache, aching limbs but no fever for 2 days now. Keep thinking this might just be the beginning and get worse from here...

Oh yes ! The exhaustion ! Never slept so much

WoollyFoolly · 25/03/2020 15:20

I had a very very very dry cough. No fever. Slight breathlessness but more a feeling of my chest being tight and uncomfortable. A bit bleugh but nothing major. I felt better after a few days but now (10/11 days later) I feel increasingly breathless and tired

Ontopofthesunset · 25/03/2020 15:23

Low grade fever for 12 hours, headache for 36 hours, acid reflux for 6 hours, body aches for 48 hours, sore throat and post nasal drip for a couple of days, lack of appetite, tiredness, 'throat clearing' but no real cough, then yesterday burning nose like on a long haul flight, followed today by lack of taste and smell. I'm on day 7. Haven't been really unwell at any point but just 'under the weather'.

PurrBox · 25/03/2020 15:28

Three adults with high fever, me only for one day, the others for longer, and they have weird nasty coughs, one with some difficulty breathing and chest tightness/ heartburn.

Thanks all. It's somehow good to hear from others how this goes... keep doubting I have it as not typical symptoms.

But feeling completely wiped out, not in a normal way that you would get eg with a cold...

Ontopofthesunset very similar here. Especially the burning nose, that was a weird one. I'm on day 7 too. Didn't ever really get a proper temperature, but I felt hot and then shivery by turns. Now the throat clearing is more of a cough, but not constantly, plus I get breathless if I try to do anything at all

List of symptoms from those of us predominantly with chest and breathing issues

I'm still unsure.
Actually had a tight and horrid feeling in my chest for 2 weeks.
Never suspected CV as wasn't a symptom advertised.

Then at weekend the flushed face, intermittent fever and extreme tiredness. Loss of appetite, taste and smell.

In fact 2 days after the sudden temp my chest felt better than it had done for weeks.

I'm torn. If this was CV then it was extremely mild. But what's awful is so mild I was out and about for first 2 weeks not realising.
Obviously I've been on SI since the temp because that's what we are told to do.

Obviously no idea whether I’ve had it, or just a cold for a few days, but I must say, it felt quite different to any other cold I’ve had:

Sunday- mildly sore throat, horrible achy back and shoulders, a few coughs in the evening.

Monday- woken at 5am hacking away with a horrid dry cough and sore throat. Very tired during the afternoon and had to have a sleep after finishing work.

Tuesday- cough and sore throat continues, now feel a bit breathless when moving around doing household tasks.

Wednesday- a few coughs this morning, but sore throat is gone, as have aches and tiredness.

I’ve either had the world’s shortest cough/cold, or possibly CV? Couldn’t tell if I ever had a fever or not, as I don’t have a thermometer.

I will point out that I was working from home! Not taking my cough/any lingering bugs anywhere with me for the foreseeable, don’t worry.
