Nightmare neighbours already

Trying to keep the kids entertained in the garden and neighbours a couple few have had the music blasting for 2 hours already.
I don’t just mean music on but full volume, you can’t hear each other talk here.
They frequently do this each summer but now we can’t escape it by going out.
Is there anything we can do if this becomes a daily thing or are services so stretched it’s pointless?
It’s mostly older people around here so feel for them too.

Perhaps knock on and have a word with them, or post an anonymous note through their door asking them to keep it down?

CoronaLime · 25/03/2020 13:18

Is the soundsystem outside? Accidental hosepipe?

LuxLFC · 25/03/2020 13:21

Same here! Started yesterday & went on all day into the evening. I reported them but not sure if it will be picked up or not given everything else.

This year is going to go down as my Annus horribilis

My road is usually quiet except when the car drivers at fighting over who has right of way. Alllll morning till now someone Is blasting their shite with a baseline that would put any festival to shame.

I have symptoms, thankfully mild but this is not helping my headache, I’m sure I can’t be the only person on my road feeling shit, as are many around the world.

In between the school work which is being uploaded but not been taught half of it/his class book to refer back to being kept at school as they insist they keep it in school, driving me bonkers, my neighbors congregating in the communal hallway having casual chats and behaving like it’s just a regular day and Mr or Ms club classics keeping the whole street entertained even if we don’t all want it, I’m ready to blow. There is no way I’m going to cope with this for 12 week.

We’ve tried talking to them years ago and it stopped for 1/2,hour.
These aren’t the type who you can talk sense to, they are currently hanging over the fence chatting to their ‘equally’ nice neighbour the other side of them

There's always some twat who is anti-social unfortunately. We had someone with a garden bonfire yesterday blowing black smoke into my washing. I feel your pain.

NeurotrashWarrior · 25/03/2020 13:25

Mine's taken to smoking a lot of weed.

Stellaris22 · 25/03/2020 13:27

I saw a video recently where someone linked to their neighbours sound system via Bluetooth and made it play 'turn your music down'.

I sympathise. Same here. Several adults shouting, screaming, playing music in NDN garden. All their newly installed French doors wide open ( upstairs and downstairs) so it's constant noise even when they go inside. At least we are detached, although ours is only a little house and garden,

Hasn't stopped for days. They've just been out talking about the hot tub they are putting next to the boundary. FFS and these are people in their fifties who you would think might have grown a brain by now. This is not normal neighbour noise. These are shits of the highest order.

We gave up trying to talk sense to them last year after an episode with their building work.

Son on night shift tonight (999) and given up on sleeping as they are just shouting all the time, it's their normal volume.

I'm going to lose the plot with them at some point, and will not be responsible for my actions.Angry

All these arsehole neighbours have no sense or thoughts about anyone but themselves.
