Ffs we knew it was coming, why not, stop travel and only allow people back that live here and are returning home and put them in quarantine for two weeks
Before letting them go back home

I know that would cost a lot of money and cause a crazy amount of hassle
But surely this is far far worse ?!

SARS experience. You can bet that next time China announces a novel virus, everyone will immediately shut their doors (hope they don’t hide it for a month or two next time tho)

Indeed, they are wearing masks. Wearing a mask does play a part in this along with wearing glasses.
Czech Republic have also worn mask and have at present a low death rate - although they’ve confiscated masks sent fir China..
