Help - Healthcare worker who is not following the rules?

Luckystar777 · 25/03/2020 00:06

So this person, I do not know their full name, only their first name, but I know their partner's full name and approximate location and approx workplace, they are refusing to stay away from their partner who they do not live with and have said no one will know. Is it just me or is this extremely irresponsible and dangerous? Especially as they are a healthcare worker (also their partner is a different sort of key worker) Should I try to report the person and if so, how and who do I do that to (I do not know where they work - although I know the city they work in)??? Thanks.

Report them for what exactly ?

Seeing their partner Shock

You should be reported for being heartless

Really? They are both key workers, probably coming into contact with dozens of people every day, trying to maintain social distancing, under pressure, over stretched and stress levels sky high. Is seeing each other all that much worse? We need to care for the people who are caring for us, and if that means they need each other in order to do that, I get that. Why not focus your attention on the half-wits still hanging about the streets?

My post was aimed at the OP

she is risking the health of her patients by effectively exposing them to all the people places surfaces that her partner encounters.
she should not mix with anyone outside her own household.
i think i would report it, but not sure to whom.
maybe find out where she works and inform them. not sure.
or could you speak to her directly, if not dangerous to you.
i think the above posters do not really understand the issues.

Like the NHS nurse I know who took her coughing child to a GP surgery and 5 days into isolation wanted her ex to take said child shopping because she was bored??
The stupidity is out there!!!
