"£30 is a lot to chavs" on the thread about the barbecue. They were fucking moronic to do it but can we stop with the derogatory terminology And a couple of other similar comments that ive seen on here.

It wasnt poorer communities getting on planes to go skiing AFTER the fact.

Please stop We are supposed to be all in this together. I hope thats true and not just a platitude.

A lot of the people panic buying (at least initially) where I live were the parents of NHS / Key workers who were told by their kids to stock up and isolate almost as soon as the virus came to the UK.

@GrumpyHoonMain then why weren't they stocking up in February as that's when half term was. The supermarkets were only empty in the 2nd week of March.

Sorry but very very few working class families can afford to stockpile at the same level as others could. Many of them live week to week. What a ridiculous sentiment. Always easy to blame the ‘chavs’
