After we received two days’ warning that the nature of our jobs were changing entirely, and we had to prepare weeks’ worth of work for our kids or teach remotely for the first time.
And after all of our key year groups’ exams were cancelled on them, and we STILL have very little guidance on how eventual grades are to be awarded, and whether our performance management will still be judged on these figures next year.
And after just the first couple of days’ worth of threads on here alone with parents upset/angry/entitled/mutinous over the amount/type of work set for their children to complete at home.
... So, what do we reckon? Numbers of candidates for teacher training to plummet? Or lots of people now wanting to take up teaching after trying home school for the first time?
