Just thought I'd say MIL is a legend.

Ex DH is a arse who not only stopped seeing his kids but stopped his mum seeing his other dc over a silly argument.

I got in contact with MIL to let her know she may have the dc whenever she likes. MIL text me last night she is a mental health nurse but has had to move to frontline and she said she loved all the kids then told me she loved me too and loves me for raising her gran kids she asked would I please stay in and she will besides pulling double shifts and working in front will go shopping for me if needed.

I won't be letting her go to shop for me but her words meant the world to me and kids and will be buying her a big bunch of flowers when this is all over just wanted to say something positive with all this negativity and fear. Feel free to add your own positive stories or small acts of kindness you have seen.

No idea when I called her after her son stopped her seeing my dc I only found out when DD2 had a seizure as I was confused as to why she didn't come to hospital so called her and she was crying with gratefulness and bought me lots of toiletries and even tho I have been separated from her son for 5 years she still remembered that I only use dove soap.

Her son is a arse and personally was disgusted that he used kids as a weapon.

What a lovely lady. I hope that you will always be great friends, despite the arsehole son.
