And it has brought home how awful and close to home this really is.

I feel quite upset but am not surprised as he had been ill for a long time with underlying health problems.

Life is shitty sometimes.😥

Flowers So sad. These deaths aren't statistics that are happening to unfortunate others. We need to be aware that there's a good chance we are personally going to be touched by it.

I'm so sorry. All lives are so valuable and its always painful to lose a much loved friend or family member. I hope he's at peace now. Flowers

I am so sorry to hear that. Their poor family, and friends - it's always too soon, and it's a wicked way to go. My condolences to your parents. It will be feeling far too close to home for them, very frightening.

Thank you all. I used to babysit his daughters when I was younger and he came to my wedding too. He had known my parents for quite a long time.

May he RIP. I hope he wasn't in too much pain.Sad
