I'm the wrong side of 50, a few health niggles but nothing much, not great at the exercise but generally healthy overall. I'm reading lots of experiences of younger people coming through this.

Could anyone tell me some happy tales?

I think the 84 year old ex-smoker mum of Nadine Dorries, the first MP to get it, recovered well. If true that's very positive news. It's clearly still a greater risk to those who are older or people who are younger but with underlying health conditions but all is not lost. We can only take precautions, look after our health now as much as possible, and hope for the best. Hope is important. Like you, I need to improve the amount of exercise I do. I used to exercise a lot but things got in the way recently. There's some good home exercise resources online including for disabled people - in wheelchairs or without full use of their body.
