Me. My wage will be 20% less than I expected this month but I suppose I should be glad I still have a job for now.

Yep, got put on it today.

SpunBodgeSquarepants · 24/03/2020 16:51

Yes, since yesterday. The email I received implies there will be no company to go back to at the end of this. I'm absolutely heartbroken, I had to leave unexpectedly a week ago, the thought of never going back, never laughing with my colleagues is just too much at the moment.

Agingdisgracefully · 24/03/2020 16:51

Me too from yesterday. Happy to get 80%. No where to spent it anyway. Better than trying to manage on £94 No idea how long this can carry on though.

Zombiemama · 24/03/2020 16:52

Yes from today - although no one seems to have any idea when we may receive any money

ruby1234 · 24/03/2020 16:53

No, but I wish I was!
I currently work 3 days a week, had this reduced to one day.
If you are working AT ALL you are not eligible for the 80% uplift.
So my salary is reduced by 2/3 and I have to come in to work, those who were 'laid off' last week will get 80% of their salary for staying at home.
Very unfair.

Pinkroseuk · 26/03/2020 11:39

Yes me too but been told I have to take any accrued holiday first? Is this correct? Thanks

OwlsFlyByNight · 26/03/2020 11:43

I am, looking at at least 3 months here. And I’m not convinced we’ll have a job to go back to even through the management are saying we will. We are very dependent on tourism so we shall see.

And yes to it being really hard to suddenly finishing work with no real notice, very difficult to cope with 😢

jacqelinedaniels · 26/03/2020 19:30

Yes just had the email this evening. Trying to process I guess it’s good in lots of ways just very strange. Hope it means there will still be a company to go back to later this year

YewandOak · 26/03/2020 19:38

Yes,since Friday

SinisterBumFacedCat · 26/03/2020 19:43

Yes today. Really sad about it and don’t feel secure as only a few of us (part timers) were. I really enjoyed my job Sad

Sunhill4 · 26/03/2020 19:50

I will be from next Tuesday. I am a nursery worker & today we had 1 child in, really not worth staying open. I'm positive at the moment & looking forward to the time at home. Am going to order a new jigsaw, a cross stitch & some new books!
