Just trying to get some advice for my sister. She is a TA in a primary school and has been asked to go in to work which is understandable however all the teachers are working at home. Basically they have allocated two TAs per group of children and asked them to plan some activities so the teachers can do planning / online resources / teaching (I’m not sure exactly what) at home. Surely this isn’t right?
I am cross on her behalf - as she said, she doesn’t mind going in and won’t let the children down but feels that at least some teachers should be too and that it isn’t her job to spend time at home planning activities when she has her own family to look after.
