Is anyone wearing a mask when they go out?

I need to go to Tesco and the bank tomorrow.
I have a mask.
Is it recommended wearing it?
Or will it do no good like I've read some reports

I saw a fair few people with them on this morning whenI was doing my weekly supermarket shop.

It won't stop you getting it but if you have it (and you might not know if you do have it) it could reduce the risk of passing it on.

However, I'd say it really comes down to whether you will find it a helpful reminder not to touch your face, or whether it will irritate/tickle you and you'll end up touching your face more because of it.

I think good hand hygiene and not touching your face are more important. But yes I would wear it. My Friend said some people were wearing marigolds to do their shopping in a couple of days ago. DH has a really good mask because of his hayfever and will be wearing that out.

I feel guilty for even going out but I need the supermarket.
I know all these celebs are self isolating and telling us to stay home.
I will be quick and in and out.
