Are Supermarkets still as bad today?

Curious if anyone has been near one today or works in one and can say whether it was still as bad as previous days?

I haven't seen much on the local news about ours.

Am not planning on going, just curious.

Ours have been fine for 3 days now. I can see one from my upstairs window and the car park is virtually empty.

I went this morning to get anything else we will need so we can steer clear for the next 3 weeks. Not an awful lot to be honest as we have enough food in the house to add the bits I got today to. I also wanted to get a few small token gifts for my DS’s birthday and his birthday meal next week. I went at 8.30am and it was pretty busy. Well stocked though. The cues were going up the aisles but probably in part due to 2 metre distancing.

Ours was empty of customers but had about 90% fully stocked shelves. They offered me hand soap and gave me free flowers at the till.

Oh I might pop in on the way home as I have given up trying to get pasta and chicken. My DS ate a sausage curry 🤮 last night. His choice and he loved it but being able to do a normal shop would be a relief.

I'm looking forward to getting flour. We have some in but dh and ds2 make bread so we want some for us and local elderly people.

I've not been in person but our Tesco delivery yesterday was basically all there so I assume they have re-stocked after all the panic buying.

I went to M&S this morning to shop for my elderly dad and wife. Small queue outside, everyone keeping theirs distance. 40 shoppers are being allowed in at a time. Shelves very well stocked. A very good experience after last week or so.

I’ve been to Asda twice this week . Monday before lockdown and today to collect my dads prescription .
Both times they were very quiet almost back to normal . Pretty much stock back to normal plenty of paracetamol & medicine nappies milk bread and eggs.
And ........ they had ..... toilet rolls . I’d forgotten what they looked like .

I went to the shop today. Left the dc with DH and went alone

Was really calm, not many people about but every one staying apart, quite a few people wearing masks or with scarves wrapped around there mouth which was strange to see.

I was actually able to get a really good shop of essentials they even had fresh veg & meat which have been very hard to get here recently. I think the 2-3 items restriction has really helped as people can’t be greedy

Morrisons was absolutely fine today. Granted they had no pasta or fresh meat still but had everything else wasnt busy. I reckon il will start to hopefully refill with even the missing things now people have panic bought and are just restocking every so often hopefully.

Waitrose had loads of stuff today apparently. Lacking on the basics, but all the nice things so we're sorted again. Really glad a bit of normality is coming back in. There was apparently a very orderly and well spaced out queue to get in and they were only letting in a set number of people at a time, but it was all very calm.
