Do I need to cancel my cleaners?

I have a team of cleaners weekly that are self employed. They still want to come wearing gloves and masks but I’m thinking this isn’t a good idea but hate to see them struggling financially. Do I cancel and give them some money?

Of course you cancel. Bloody hell.

I presume you have some very significant disabilities that you have failed to mention, otherwise the answer is so obvious that you should cancel but continue to pay them.

Why do you need a whole team of cleaners? If you are working from home now surely you need to do your own cleaning and keep everyone safe.

Notdonna · 24/03/2020 09:09

Ignore this!! I’ve decided to cancel them but give them full pay for as long as I can afford to...

That’s a nice thing to do for them OP. I imagine it will help them greatly if they have no other source of income.

Good one OP. I've done the same. My cleaner has a smallholding with a lot of animals and uses the money for frequent vets bills. I can't let her go without.
