Oysterbabe · 24/03/2020 06:28

Absolutely not.

Nquartz · 24/03/2020 06:29

No

joystir59 · 24/03/2020 06:29

All play areas are off limits.

ButtonandPickle19 · 24/03/2020 06:29
Hmm
jackstini · 24/03/2020 06:30

No
Parks are open for walking so if it's very close you could take your one walk a day there, staying away from others

Play equipment is one of the worst holders of the virus so don't let them on it

AmelieTaylor · 24/03/2020 06:30

No. You can walk around the green space, you can go for a bike ride/walk, but you cannot play on equipment.

The virus can last for days on the equipment.

foamrolling · 24/03/2020 06:31

No. Ours have all been fenced off to prevent this too.

daisypond · 24/03/2020 06:32

Absolutely not. Playgrounds are one of the very dangerous areas.

practicallyperfectwithprosecco · 24/03/2020 06:32

No more than 2 people together in public so no family outings

cornishdreams1 · 24/03/2020 06:33

No way

Pinkyyy · 24/03/2020 06:33

No

orangeeees · 24/03/2020 06:33

Stay.at.home.

LoudBatPerson · 24/03/2020 06:34

No. It's clearly included in the list of places/areas to close.

I despair!!!

FlyingFlamingo · 24/03/2020 06:35

I really hope your council have been as sensible as ours and closed all the parks (they did this yesterday before Boris’ announcement)

daisypond · 24/03/2020 06:35

No more than 2 people together in public so no family outings
That is not correct. You can go out with members of your family for exercise. The 2 limit does not apply.

Sameold2020 · 24/03/2020 06:37

Troll. Good one.

Keepgoing88 · 24/03/2020 07:50

Thanks. Just asking. So much news out there! @SapphireSalute I suppose you would prefer it if I had not asked and then just taken my kids to the park then? I despair!

What do you mean “so much news out there”? All you needed to do was listen to Boris last night to know we’re essentially in lockdown.

Keepgoing88 · 24/03/2020 09:24

@PurpleDaisies but I didn't understand about whether parks could be used as the one amount of daily exercise. Shoot me for asking!

OP posts:
goldenorbspider · 24/03/2020 09:26

Op people are on edge don't take it personally. We'll be using our park for our daily exercise by going for a walk. I've told mine the play park is sadly closed for now.
