I am the manager of a construction company employing 80 employees. We work mostly for social housing landlords who understandably are postponing further works in occupied properties but I do have some outdoor/ unoccupied property work.
However the staff work in teams, sometimes travel 2 in a van etc so my staff are nervous about working.
Is Boris's speech tonight telling me to close? We are not essential workers of course but he didn't say only essential workers can go to work!
