Giving birth in a pandemic- any knowledge of this?

As many MN users, I'm pregnant and expecting end of June. I have an ELCS booked in for MH reasons. My hospital is the biggest teaching hospital in London. I saw the chilling and sobering footage in the news this evening, of CV patients in Spain lying on corridor floors separated by gaffer tape markings. This could well be us in a few weeks.

Does anyone have any specialist professional medical knowledge of this, or any first hand experience from Spain or Italy? What will happen to women giving birth in these conditions? How would they manage it or would women be asked to give birth at home? Will CS still go ahead? I'm waiting to speak to my midwife about things but no-one really knows I guess. It's another thing to be terrified about.

I forgot to add a further worry- that husbands / partners won't be allowed at the birth. Anyone know anything about this?
