How many work stations have you got set up at home?

And where?

I have three adults working from home and an engineering apprentice trying to keep up his studies.

Every flat surface is covered in tech, three of us are working from multiple screens. A lap top is fine for occasional homeworking but not for all along. These thing don't seem as big in the office!

Very short term it would be fine and easy enough to work around but this isn't short term.

And we have a decent sized house, I dread to think how it is for those less fortunate.

My OH has worked from home for years. Despite the fact that the spare room is set up with a huge desk, printer, stationary, monitor etc etc, he always ends up sitting on the lounge room!

He has a stable table (a tray with bean bag backing) and sits it on his lap! I have told him multiple times that this isnt great for his back though. He is only the lap top for short periods though, as gets up and needs to do other things also- its not 8hrs on the laptop.

Do you have a dining table, trestle table in the shed, island in the kitchen or even a coffee table and sit on the floor?

I've moved 17yo & 14yo downstairs as I don't want them on their screens in their bedroom 24/7.
17yo is in the dining room (laptop & screen).
14yo has a desk set up in the playroom (2 screens).
I've set myself up in 14yo's room on his now empty desk (laptop & screen).

We are luckily to have enough room, and still have the kitchen table for family meals.

We're good. Eldest already has his pc set up. I had to buy an extra desk for DH who is working from the play room. I'm in the spare bedroom. Youngest is doing his stuff on the kitchen table, although I think we need to plan for him to clean his room as he does actually have a desk, its just hidden under lego.
We're very lucky. We moved to a larger house nearly two years ago and we have the room for this.
