I dont think I should have to ask, there's no way I'd be eating that. Teen DD thinks this is yet another stupid restriction on her freedoms. What can I say to stop her going out there to meet Mr Whippy?

I would say no too but I know some places do takeaway. I would still say no!

Local to me the ice cream van is selling eggs / bread / milk etc

Mine is just selling lollies, drinks and sweets.

Absolutely a no - anything which promotes people gathering together or queuing isn’t social distancing, plus the driver is a vector for spreading it if he’s speaking to and serving dozens of people from different areas.

To mention they don't usually sell this - but they've started stocking up on essentials for those who can't get out of the house much

I don't trust our local ice cream van guys to wash their hands after a shit let alone handling cash etc.
