Is it possible to book a quicky wedding at the moment?

Me and DP have been together 25 years but are not married, worried about what happens if one of us dies now (one of us is high risk). The house is only in one of our names etc. We were planning on getting married but next year and thought we would have time.

We don't want a ceremony, or reception nothing just to sign the papers, is this possible?

I'd contact your local registry office they'll probably be some cancellations.

If your in England you have to give 28 days notice if I remember rightly. You also have to have 2 witnesses. Have you tried getting legal advice? Some places give it for free

Thanks I will try and contact them, I don't want to put anyone at any risk for this just would be the easiest way to sort things.
