Really really dim Luddite question about kids’ workouts with Joe Wicksin the mornings

Forgive me; I’m technologically illiterate.

YouTube channels are another planet to me.

I want me and DD to try the Joe Wicks kids 30 min workouts he’s advertising will be on his YouTube channel at 9am as of tomorrow.

If we miss the 9am start will there be a way of watching the workout ‘not’ live, as it were? I mean, if we head to his YouTube channel about 10ish or whatever, will the video still be up and we can just play it and work out then?

Or is it 9am or nothing?

I’m sorry; I know it’s a really stupid question.

I’m just so keen for DD to get a bit of exercise; she is weak and has no stamina at the best of times so weeks with little exercise is not going to do her any good at all.

I've been wondering the same. DD (secondary) has been told to log onto her school googleclassroom for 8.40 ready for lessons which will follow her usual timetable. I'm not sure if her lessons will be 'live', but I hope not so that we can do the 9am Joe Wicks.

Glad I’m
Not the only one!!

I'm sure I saw him say that they just save on his page / channel. It's another language to me too Blush

inwood · 22/03/2020 22:37

It's a livestream at 9am I believe so no you can't get it later.

frogsbreath · 22/03/2020 22:38

Oh no, ds is insisting that he wants to start the day with a reading activity (like he does at school) so I hoped we'd just get thy e saved video on his YouTube channel.

Maybe he has others we could do. Otherwise I can google up some mr motivator routines.

NarniaBanarnia · 22/03/2020 22:39

Ah inwood thx...

I wonder if that will change tho as I have heard a lot of people say their kids have to log on for lessons at usual time...

I am so excited about this! I think you can get the videos afterwards but not sure.

Sorry, not helpful. But I wanted to share my excitement about this!

This question was on his facebook page, he said yes it will be available to view anytime later. So just go to his YouTube channel when suits you.

NarniaBanarnia · 22/03/2020 22:40

Exactly frogsbreath!! My DD is saying the same thing!!! She wants to do her ‘learning journal’ (free writing) and reading first...

Yes I thought 9am was an odd time, given that lots of kids will be logging into their Google classrooms etc then, I thought it would be better after lunch or something?

But anyway, yes, I think you can watch it later l.

frogsbreath · 22/03/2020 22:43

Yay thank you Sally! One less lesson to worry about 😄

Yester · 22/03/2020 22:43

Where do we get it from? I am a bit thick.

Gazelda · 22/03/2020 22:46

That's great Sally. Thank you.
