Visiting very sick family members

At what point would you go visit a very close, sick family member in these circumstances? Eg parents. Very unwell? On their deathbed? Never?

Probably never. I don't think visiting is permitted on isolation wards.

If they were very sick and dying anyway, I don't see why not

What if they refused to go to hospital? (i.e. you had the option of seeing them at home)
