Having just seen that from tomorrow evening McDonald's will be closing all restaurants including delivery and drive thru. Do you think other restaurants who have currently been offering takeaway will also follow and close completely.

I don't want to know cause I want to eat but my job relies on food places being open.

Yes I think it's a very big move from McDonalds and well done for them to consider their staff and customers.

I think others will follow, local independents here who were offering take away options (bar / restaurants ) have announced today they will stop offering them after today. So I think something has changed attitudes.

We had takeaway from the wonderful restaurant that we'd booked a Mothers Day Meal at. It was disappointing and if we did it again it would be just to be charitable. I don't think most higher end places are geared up for takeaway.

I'm hoping the company I work for survives but with very little business even if they stay a float they are not going to need all the staff they have now.
