I'm a bit annoyed with family

I found out this morning that relatives including teenagers were visiting my elderly grandparents for dinner today as they didn't want Grandma to miss out on Mother's Day. I spoke up and said what a stupid, selfish and dangerous thing to do especially as one of them works in retail so they're very close to a lot of people all the time. They said we're going straight there and none of them are ill so no reason not to go. I wouldn't dream of visiting my grandparents, I love seeing them but their safety is more important. I'm so angry and upset! Was I right to speak up as it has caused a fall out plus now I'm really worried for them.

Absolutely right. Do they not watch the news? Idiots. I hope for your sack your grandma is ok. How would they feel if she wasn’t, all for a Mother’s Day lunch

No you're not wrong. I've seen people on FB meeting up with elderly mothers though so it seems people aren't getting it.

I’m glad you said something. What the have done is stupid.

You are right. Just because they don't feel ill now, doesn't mean they don't have it.
