What is classed as severe asthma??

Hi with the new measures they are putting in place and to protect ourselves, and for my family members who have asthma. What is classed as severe asthma? Thanks xx

My dh is on some kind of injection every month which is immunosuppressive. Not sure what the drug is called. It is to reduce his dependence on steroids. from next week it is being delivered to our house and he has to inject himself. Would he be considered severe?
