I wonder if A and E will have a slight break with pubs being shut

I've never been to A and E at all until I had my little one. However, can imagine its busiest periods are Friday Saturday nights. Do you think pubs closing will have a impact on their workload

Not as much as those Corona virus patients unable to breathe will.

I work in a hospital in the north east and there is always a queue of ambulances waiting to offload patients into A&E on a Saturday night, but there was only one there last night.

Having said that we seem to be behind London and the south east with the spread of covid 19, so give it a week or 2 and that will undoubtedly change 😔

Last week it was loo roll, this week it is alcohol.
I saw one person putting a case of wine in his trolley yesterday.
The shelves were being emptied of booze.
