Any suggestions for dealing with health anxiety?

My MIL suffers from health anxiety at the best of times, so is understandably very anxious at the moment. She is nearly 70, has poorly controlled asthma and other underlying health conditions, so I can understand why she is very worried.

However, what concerns me is that she also suffers from disordered eating and this seems to particularly come to the fore when combined with her health anxiety. I'm worried for her that if she starts restricting her food now as a coping mechanism for her anxiety, she will just make herself even more vulnerable if she were to be exposed to the virus.

So does anyone have any suggestions for Apps, on-line programs etc that she could use to try to get a handle on her anxiety before it spirals?

Moodgym is good, it's free online cbt based exercises. DS used it for a while when he went through a period of pretty bad anxiety a few years ago on the recommendation of our GP.

There's a great Facebook group called "a little peace of mind" which I've found very helpful to reframe anxious thoughts and feelings.
