Are other countries panic buying?

Here in the UK it feels like panic buying is creating a whole second disaster. Are other countries having the same issue? I understand psychologically why people tend to panic buy in these situations, but are we worse than elsewhere in the world?

Here in Greece no.

Everything apart from supermarkets and pharmacies has been closed since last Sunday.
We have limited number of people allowed in at a time and I have seen no empty shelves. On the whole people are complying very well with the restrictions.

I am very proud of the way the Greek government and the Greek population are responding to this.

No sanitizer to be found in UAE. Otherwise, no issues with anything. Certain brands are running out (couldn’t find actual tampax yesterday), but there’s plenty of everything.

I'm in Poland (in a large city) - pretty calm here.

Everything has been closed except "necessary services" since 13 March. Supermarkets and small corner shops are open normal hours and relatively well stocked, no rationing. Just a few things are impossible to get - hand sanitiser, surgical spirits, alcohol wipes, some imported goods from outside the EU. My usual hypermarket (Auchan) even has sales on certain things like canned beans, dried seeds/nuts/fruit, and cleaning products - so no real feeling of impending shortage for now.

I'd say people are stocking up more than normal - making sure to be prepared for a few weeks and also legitimately needing more because people are home all day (schools/unis are closed and a lot of workers are off or telecommuting) but not panic buying as if the shops might all close tomorrow. As a side note - all places that serve food are restricted to delivery/take-away, and bars are closed.
