It's still ok to go out for a walk, isn't it?

It's a beautiful day, and we want to make the most of the sunshine. There is a wood near our home where we often walk. Not usually busy, but we might pass one or two dog walkers on the path. Might be difficult to pass at two meters distance due to the width of the path in some places, but could probably manage 1m.

I'm in a slightly higher risk category fwiw, and am self isolating otherwise.

It's ok to go out isn't it?

Yes, at the moment a walk outside is being encouraged.

Government advise says it's ok, every body is out though! If you think it's a good idea so will they, especially with the good weather and mothers day. I'd pick the quiet place you can think of

The place we have in mind is usually pretty quiet, we might see one or two other people in an hour's walk. However, the weather's nice and there is nothing else to do, so I guess it will be busier than usual.

Everywhere I normally walk in isolation with the dog is full of people today.

Understandable and I am glad they are enjoying the sunshine, but inconvenient if you're trying to avoid people Smile

It’s busy out there so maybe go somewhere with open fields rather than narrow footpaths. My observations are about 50% of us are trying to keep the 2 meter distance others not moving over and they don’t care.

I was also aware of the amount of people pushing the gates open through the fields etc.

Well, we went out and didn't see anyone except in the distance. It was a beautiful day, so I'm glad that we had a chance to enjoy the sunshine!

We live in a flat near the seafront, today is a beautiful day, want to go for a walk , but I can see from my window, full of people jogging, walking, riding a bike... so we decided not to go
