They've decided to face social isolation together with all their friends. And very loud music. Which will probably go on until 4 in the morning like all their little fucking celebrations. Fuckwits Angry

Call the police after 12?

thereisfreedomwithin · 21/03/2020 20:39

That’s not good

minipie · 21/03/2020 20:40

I wouldn’t call the police but I would be tempted to post details on your local police station facebook/twitter account

LadyTiredWinterBottom2 · 21/03/2020 20:40

Is this like a pox party?

browzingss · 21/03/2020 20:41

Isn’t loud music a council matter, not police matter?

Sirzy · 21/03/2020 20:42

Idiots!

RaspberryBubblegum · 21/03/2020 20:42

Email your council and report a noise disturbance?

NotTerfNorCis · 21/03/2020 20:43

That's one party they might regret.

doesthissoundok · 21/03/2020 20:45

I don't think they're trying to catch the disease but they seem to be thinking it's a big two fingers up at it. I don't think that's how viruses work though 🤔. The woman there likes to be the 'cool mum' who lets the teens hang out and drink in her garden. Gets right on my tits at the best of times but this is a new height of stupidity!

How disgraceful.

longtompot · 21/03/2020 20:49

Maybe just post a print out of the article of the family in the US who got together for the mums birthday, now 7 are infected and 4 of those died.

LovingLola · 21/03/2020 20:50

The police would sort that out where I live

doesthissoundok · 21/03/2020 20:52

What a tragic story longtom. I am very tempted to print that out for them.

Doubt very much that the police would be interested round here. Makes me wish the govt was going for an approach more like France if we can't trust the public to make reasonable decisions.

Teens hanging out and drinking in the garden - we are on the road to perdition.

NowSissyThatWalk · 21/03/2020 20:55

That's pathetic. I'd say given the current situation the police would be more interested than normal (I'm one) Don't know of course, but I know certainly in my force given we had the time and it wasn't too busy I know me and my team would love to pop along and give a few 'words of advice'

alloutoffucks · 21/03/2020 20:55

A woman I know in her 60s is also having a corona virus party. I had thought she was intelligent.

dontaskformedicaladviceonmn · 21/03/2020 21:04

guaranteed not one of those selfish twats will suffer at all. They will probably just be carriers who pass it on, and kill, dozens of people whilst saying “I don’t know what all the fuss is about” Angry

Babyroobs · 21/03/2020 21:13

I have heard of one in our town through a friend also.

LadyTiredWinterBottom2 · 21/03/2020 21:14

Oh she's a knob then

KeepWashingThoseHands · 21/03/2020 21:15

How utterly stupid and selfish these people are.

What's the non-emergency number for the police? I'd be tempted to call and the sooner Boris introduces fines for this sort of dickishness all the better in my view.

SilverPepperOfTheStars · 21/03/2020 21:19

I've just looked out of my bedroom window to see flashing lights and people chatting in my neighbours back garden. They're obviously having a party, although there's no loud music (yet).

I'm trying to do the right thing by not visiting my mum who's on her own, and I wont get to see my boyfriend for god knows how long, yet these people think it's a good idea to have a party....I just despair.

VettiyaIruken · 21/03/2020 21:19

You just described my neighbour! She's also got teens round most weeks, drinking, smoking, the lot. I could hear them tonight. Some people are just total idiots.

bbqprawns · 21/03/2020 21:25

Are your neighbours my friends?! I just made a post (or several) on another thread here ranting about my friends and their house parties. Third night in a row, guests include people who just came back from other European coronavirus hotspots, attendance of at least 35 from what I can see.
