I feel nauseas and I have got horrendous diarrhoea and vomited today.

Could this be the virus?

50% of all cases start with gastro issues.

Yes my partners started this way, gp said it was quite a common symptom.

We all now have very very mild dry coughs but obviously without testing we will never know.

Yes I had diarrhoea at the start. Have been feeling a bit sick ever since - it’s a huge struggle to make myself eat. I don’t know if I have it but I’d put quite a large amount of money on it. Day 11 of being unwell here.

Yes, it's been widely reported that it can be a symptom

My daughter aged 8 vomited this morning. We've been self isolating as her sibling had a cough last saturday. My partner doesnf think either child has coronavirus and wants to come out of isolate. I will show him this

Yep. I’ve had nausea and diarrhoea for 4 days now alongside fluctuating fever, sore throat, occasional cough and tight chest.

I had something that looked very much like corona a few weeks ago. No sickness but it started with stomach cramps and an upset stomach.

Upset stomach and vomiting on and off since the beginning of March. Temperature and mild cough now. Very tired too.

I had 3 days of fever and then had all-day nausea on day 4. Ended up vomiting. I only started coughing day 5 or so. I am not diagnosed but followed the 111 advice to isolate due to the fever. Now I just feel wiped out and a bit wheezy.

If it wasn’t for the timing ie just over a month ago I had the weirdest bug ever, I kept thinking it was a combo of the flu and norovirus. I hadn’t been abroad or anything so probably not but it started with a really sore throat, also had congestion, coughing, fever, d and v and muscle aches all over. I remember saying to my husband I couldn’t pinpoint what was wrong at all as it didn’t seem to fit either flu or noro exactly

@MrsBennetsnerves how many days in are you?

It's an adenovirus so it attracts the lungs. If you have no respiratory symptoms, and don't develop any in the next few days, it's very unlikely. You have no choice though except to self isolate. Ds had a vomiting bug and fever. No one else has anything, but we are isolating.

Attacks, although it is still attractive to the lungs

Hi 2.5 weeks I started off with a day of body chills and low shivers. Took me ages to get warm. Thought not much of it. Day 2 diarrhoea, but no stomach pain at all just constant diarrhoea. Called GP on day 5 told her my symptoms she said I must have food poisoning (diarrhoea was a khaki green sorry TMI but I feel it’s important we are all totally honest about our symptoms) Started antibiotics, but a few days after no change and still constant body chills and could only get warm with a hot water bottle/ socks/ pyjamas heating on. Then almost as I finish the antibiotics the diarrhoea goes and the awful colour and I wake up with swollen glands around neck that are very painful, sore throat and white patches on my tonsils. No appetite. Like full blown tonsillitis. After a few days call GP back who prescribes another antibiotic for tonsillitis! Almost finished that and now my current symptoms are- chills on/ off (but much better) very sore throat, absolutely wiped out tired, doing bare minimum with kids (4 and 6) and a dry cough that just came on last 2 days! I’m ALMOST 3 weeks in and feel rubbish currently. A few days ago developed a bad migraine but within 48 hours and painkillers it went away. But paracetamol never bought my chills down ever.
6 year old in bed with a fever not responding to calpol, and a dry cough for a week now. He’s happy in himself though, playing / Nintendo/ iPad etc eating very well (boredom?!)

There’s a nasty tummy bug going round. All 3 of my DCs have had D & V. I just had the D, plus aches and fatigue. Loads of other children in my DD’s class also had the tummy bug but it was over and done with in 3 days. I don’t think it’s anything to do with Coronavirus. It’s just a parallel nasty.

I’ve been ill for most of the week and genuinely didn’t believe it until I saw this.
