I'm seeing worrying threads here where people are taking lots of zinc, pills, lozenges, sambucol.
Zinc removes copper from your body and in excess this can make you ill.
If you don't believe me go Google things like "copper deficiency myelopathy"
So take it easy with the zinc, make sure you have a diet that contains enough (vegans take extra care about this) but don't overload on all these different sources of it.
