Early signs of CV?

Those of you who had or think you have had what were first warning signs? I've had a low grade headache and a feeling of malaise for a few days but no fever no sore throat. Just feel a bit congested in my ears and want to clear my throat a bit. Am I being paranoid?! Thanks.

I am wondering the same thing myself. I’ve had mild chest tightness for the past 3 days. No real coughing as such and no temperature. Initially I thought it was just due to high levels of anxiety, but I’m worried it could be something more. I’ve been working from home since Wednesday but kids have been into school. Everyone else in the house seems well. Guess it’s just a case of watching and waiting, while constantly taking temperature!

Its important to remember lots of bugs are around at this time of year

Imjustsolost · 21/03/2020 10:58

I had a sore throat and then a bad cough was hoarse for three days. Have fever and chills and very sore all round. Waiting 5 days now to be tested in Ireland

Sorry posted too soon it's still important to distance yourself because vulnerable people need to be fighting fit when they encounter Coronavirus but not everything is the virus and I'm concerned people will be complacent and think they've had Coronavirus mildly and don't need to take care anymore

Exhaustion, foggy head and headache for a couple of days then a mild temp, very tight chest and slight cough for about a week. I wasn’t very ill if that’s what it was, more Just wiped out

tinkywinkyshandbag · 21/03/2020 11:17

Hmm okay thanks definitely headache and muzzy feeling. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I've got asthma but not severe and have plenty of inhalers. Haven't been out for about a week as not working, only very brief trip to supermarket.Taking vitamin c, zinc, d3, echinacea. Fingers crossed!

I’ve felt a bit off for about two weeks now. Tired and a bit fluey. It comes and goes too, sometimes I feel fine, then it comes over me. No temperature and no cough. Son has woken up feeling the same and has a very snotty nose. Is it just a lingering cold or should we self isolate?

littlemissmuffins · 21/03/2020 11:27

tinkywinkyshandbag I am having the exact same symptoms as you. Banging headache yesterday (and I rarely get headaches), which still hasn't lifted completely, general slightly tired not-right feeling, and throat and ears feeling a bit blocked.

I was in a shop with a worker coughing her lungs up, on Wednesday. Wasn't very close to her though.

I am hoping and hoping it's either psychosomatic, the headache is my period (sometimes get that), and the blocked feeling is my increasingly dodgy sinuses.

What are your headaches like?? Mine is one sided, behind right eye/ears..

HarrietTheShy · 21/03/2020 11:37

Feverish, headache, dry cough. Fatigue set in a few days later.

tinkywinkyshandbag · 21/03/2020 13:50

Mines a sort of dull over the brows ache a bit like a hangover. I'm putting it down to a lack of sleep and anxiety. A walk in the fresh air with the dogs helped.

Yep, hangover type headache was one of my first symptoms then cough developed. Not still sure it's CV but isolating obviously.

Roostersmum2 · 21/03/2020 14:07

Burning chest when walking uphill (not the norm for me)

Diarreah and sharp stomach pain

Fatigue/malaise

Headache

Sore and aching limbs

Horrible metallic taste in my mouth that went away slightly then returned with a vengeance

Kids have mild coughs

Nobody has been diagnosed but we are suspicious so self isolating

LynnSchmob · 21/03/2020 14:13

I’m self isolating (makes no real difference as I’m on unpaid leave for the next 3 months)
Anyway, I’m going to list my symptoms:
Started 5 days ago with mild diarrhoea
Scratchy throat
Mild headache
Achey limbs
Swollen armpit glands
Tightness in chest
Cough
Feel a bit rough but not horrific

Tbh I would love to know if I have it. Just out of general curiosity more than anything else.

tinkywinkyshandbag · 21/03/2020 15:30

@roostermum I have heard others mention metallic taste
