Do we really need to worry about civil unrest?!

Friend is in the police and seems to think that before long we will start seeing outbreaks of civil unrest due to lack of food and frustration and fear etc

This hadn’t really occurred to me but now it’s all I can think about. Do we really think that people are going to start looting homes etc?! This idea scares me FAR more than the virus to be honest.

Be too worried about catching it to venture into others homes but the behaviour in London and some of the posts around Mumsnet have made
Me realise a lot of people are choosing not to understand or are just complete idiots!

The SAGE reports released yesterday seemed to think that civil unrest is unlikely, more commonly we will see more altruism.

There might be fisticuffs at the supermarket and break-ins targeting stores and warehouses but I don't think there will be riots.
