I plan to light a firepit on my drive; take a glass of wine, a blanket and a garden chair outside and invite a few neighbours to join me in a large circle.

I suggested that for DS's 18th birthday last night Billy. I was roundly told off!!

My neighbours are not 18.

Age of neighbours has nothing to do with it!

Okay, given that we are in a region with very few cases anyway, none of us are in a vulnerable group, what has been advised about contact and the fact that we are 3 to 4 responsible adults who would not be getting drunk, what exactly do people believe is the risk here?

Also no sharing of wine, chairs or blankets and only I would be dealing with the firepit.
