I was watching the Emily Maitliss documentary about him last night. He gives me the shivers; such a cunning, weasel of a man. He has some (frankly scary) beliefs about how the Government should operate and seems to idolise dictatorships.
But now that we suddenly need the great machinations of Government more than ever, now those ancient creaking institutions suddenly have their true meaning and purpose defined and put to good use, does this mean he is on the sidelines and his ideology is no longer relevant to Boris et al?
Or is he actually still very much in the driving seat and driving Government strategy on Covid19?
I genuinely have no idea and would like to hear other, more informed opinions.
