Vulnerable how?

Why do you need a job now? Have you just been paid off?

Is there somewhere else you could stay temporarily?

Ok. So what's the urgency for a job? Have you just lost a job?

Most supermarkets are crying out for people but it's not for someone who lives in a high risk household.

Greenbutterlfy566 · 21/03/2020 00:27

Yes recently lost job but not in category to be paid regarding coronavirus. I am aware of supermarket jobs but too high a risk. Sad

In that position ie need to keep going to work (schools are not closed here), but both myself and partner are vulnerable, extremely so.

I've decided there is nothing I can control or know, except that if I go to work I'll get paid, so I'm going to work.

If I get sick, I'll isolate in a separate room of the house, and any well family members can leave food at the door.

Lots of us don't have the luxury of choosing between endangering our health or the health of our loved ones, and our jobs. You need a job? You have a job? You have to work.

Just don't read threads where people are complaining about working from home. I'd give my right arm to be able to work from home, and I mean that literally.
