I work part time. Single parent. Receive WTC and CTC. I am a key worker, but youngest childs provision is not opening.

Apparently, I can't work from home (latest advice from work. Local government, interestingly) I will be arguing this point, as while I couldn't carry out my role in its entirety, I could very much fill my hours with enough work that can be done from home. I am part of a team, several of whom.have no children or childcare issues. Any essential office based work could easily be covered by them.

I'm wondering though, if it comes to it and I have to take unpaid leave, will my WTC be affected? I could manage if not. I could not manage if they are.
